Yekaterina Khamidullina completed a prestigious international arbitrator training program
We are proud to announce that Yekaterina Khamidullina, AEQUITAS Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution, AIFC laws and ТМТ successfully completed the intensified international program International Arbitration: From Appointment to Award aimed at enhanced training of specialists in the sphere of international arbitration, and received a certificate following the training outcome.
The program took place from 29 October through 1 November 2026 in Astana and was organized with the assistance of the leading international and regional organizations: Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), Center for International Commercial & Investment Arbitration (CICIA), IAC of the AIFC, and Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA).
The opportunity to become a participant of such designated program is a significant professional achievement in light of its intensified form and strict requirements to dedication of participants. The training is designed for the specialists who are ready to enhanced practical work and development of the skills required to performs the functions of an arbitrator.
During four days, the participants gradually studied the key stages of arbitration proceedings from the formation of the panel of arbitrators and procedure administration to evaluation of evidence, resolution of procedural issues, and drafting of a motivated arbitral award. The program provided for modeling of arbitration proceedings, practical exercises, collective discussion of complicated issues, and drafting of a final arbitral award with subsequent expert evaluation.
Special attention was paid to the issues of procedural justness, effective proceedings administration, evidence analysis, and legal arguments. Such practice-focused approach allowed the participants to gain a better understanding of the arbitrator's role and improve the skills required to resolve complicated international disputes.
Participation in this program became another opportunity for Yekaterina to extend her professional competences and further develop her expertise in the sphere of international arbitration, which strengthens the potential of AEQUITAS in the dispute resolution sphere.
