Yelena Manayenko Joined the AIFC Legal Services Board
On 3 May 2022, the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) adopted the Legal Services Regulations and established the AIFC Legal Services Board. Following the results of selecting the candidates from the AIFC participants, AEQUITAS Partner Yelena Manayenko joined the Board.
The key objectives of the Board will be registration of the new legal counsel and regulation of activities of those already registered with the AIFC with a view to ensure safety and reliability of the AIFC legal services market.
The Board is chaired by Simon Cox, Senior Counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright, who has been a member of the AIFC Legal Advisory Council since 2017. The Board also includes representatives of the AIFC bodies and AIFC Academy of Law, partners of Seven Pillars Law, Kinstellar, Grata International, AGZ ZanHub, and Berg & Moll.
