Nurlan Sholanov Spoke at the Round Table in Astana
28 February marked one of the most important events held in Astana for the business community of Kazakhstan – round table "Implementation of the Address of the Head of the State to the People of Kazakhstan of 1 September 2023 "Economic Course of a Just Kazakhstan" with respect to provision of the preemptive subsoil use right to investors carrying out geological survey operations at their own expense".
The organizers were NCE RK "Atameken" and ALE "Association of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan". The event gathered the advisor to the Kazakhstan President, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament, heads of the branch ministries and departments, representatives of Kazakhstan Foreign Investor's Council Association, eminent scientists in the field of geological and mineralogical sciences, veterans of the geological branch, public figures, entrepreneurs, and independent experts. AEQUITAS Counsel, Nurlan Sholanov, also participated in the event as an expert and spoke regarding the "Role and importance of the Addresses of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the development and improvement of legislation" and highlighted certain legal and technical issues of the draft law on introduction of amendments into the subsoil use legislation presented by one of participants.
