Nurlan Sholanov joined the Eurasian Antimonopoly Association
On 5 October 2021, AEQUITAS Partner and Head of Competition & Antitrust, Nurlan Sholanov, became a member of the Eurasian Antimonopoly Association, a union of professional lawyers and economists specializing in the antitrust legislation sphere.
The Association is a unique project bringing together the leading specialists in the antitrust regulation sphere and serving as the top expert platform to discuss and form the antitrust policy issues. The Association closely cooperates with national and supranational antitrust departments and ensures independent expert review of the impact of their activities and initiatives.
The prestigious membership with the Association allows Nurlan Sholanov and AEQUITAS to directly interact with the representatives of antitrust agencies, receive exclusive and topical information, organize and participate in various events, as well as to exert positive influence on the antitrust regulation by issuing expert reviews and discussing the issues with the antitrust agencies concerned.
Starting from the appointment as the Head of Competition & Antitrust in July 2021, Nurlan has been actively developing this sector within the firm, which can be confirmed by the fact of joining several organizations in the sphere of antitrust law, including the Eurasian Antimonopoly Association.
