AEQUITAS lawyer, Zhandaulet Sholanov, participated in the webinar "Commodity market analysis: How can business understand the Antitrust Agency's actions, identify risks and find the ways to mitigate them?", which took place on the PravMedia platform.
The webinar was informative and helpful and gave answers to many questions, which we encounter in our everyday practice.
The webinar addressed the following issues:
- Approaches of the antitrust agency (CPDA) applied when analyzing the commodity markets. Key stages of the analysis and conclusions. Hands-on examples, including mistakes of the CPDA and entities when conducting analysis.
- Rights and obligations of the market entities when receiving requests form the antitrust agency regarding the market analysis, recommendations on the line of conduct to protect own legal rights. Legal implications for the market entities of the analysis conducted by the antitrust agency, and other issues.
Instruments and measures for the preventive control of legislation violations in the competition protection sphere (antitrust compliance, approval of agreements, etc.)
