The 9th CIS LCN Forum took place on 27–29 June 2014.

Starting 2006, the Forum has been annually held in different countries and cities of the CIS where the CIS LCN member firms are based. This year, the Forum for the first time travelled outside the CIS to be hosted in Vienna (Austria).

AEQUITAS Managing Partner, Olga Chentsova, and Partner Valikhan Shaikenov took part in the Forum. Valikhan spoke at the «Dispute Resolution — Arbitration and More» panel dwelling on the subtleties to be taken into account by foreign investors when entering into contracts with Kazakh counterparties.
