Ius Laboris: ESG - an environmental, social and governance perspective on doing business
We are happy to announce that Ius Laboris presented the new major ESG project and created a special web page covering different environmental, social and governance issues of doing business.
When organizations commit to doing more on environmental, social and governance issues, it is not just a token approach: it is a statement of intent about making the world – and the world of work – a better, fairer place. This is the reason, why does ESG matter.
Within the framework of this project, Ius Laboris lawyers explore how ESG issues are shaping policy and practice in different areas of employment law. The page includes the following content:
- Review explaining the meaning of ESG, why it matters and how to get started - “How ‘ESG’ is your HR practice?”;
- Expert Group survey;
- Report by the Knowledge Managers’ Group on supply chain due diligence laws - along with a map showing which country is doing what;
- Podcast on ESG in Hong Kong and APAC;
- Plus various related resources.
AEQUITAS Partner and Head of Labor & Employment practice Yuliya Chumachenko and AEQUITAS Senior Associate Alexandr Chumachenko actively contributed to the preparation of the Kazakhstan part of the ESG review.
